EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 493 -
INCREASING CERTAIN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE FEES IN THE OFFICE OF THE
PRESIDENT
WHEREAS,
there is a need to update the rates of fees charged for certain
administrative services rendered by the Office of the
President:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines,
by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby prescribe the
following rates of charges for certain administrative services rendered
by the Office of the President:

Pauper litigants duly certified as such in accordance with the Rules of Court shall be exempted from the payment of appeal fee.
Executive Order No. 19, s. 1966, is hereby amended insofar as the appeal fee is concerned.
This Order shall take effect immediately.
Done in the City of Manila, this 5th day of January, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-eight.
