EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 413 - MODIFYING THE RATES OF IMPORT DUTY AND NOMENCLATURE OF CERTAIN IMPORTED ARTICLES UNDER SECTION 104 OF THE TARIFF AND CUSTOMS CODE OF 1978, (PRESIDENTIAL DECREE NO. 1464), AS AMENDED

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by Sec. 401 of Presidential Decree No. 1464, otherwise known as the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines, as amended, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:

Section 1. The rates of import duty and nomenclature of certain articles under Section 104 of the Tariff and Customs Code of 1978, as amended, are hereby amended and modified as specifically listed in Annex “A” hereof, and accordingly, these articles shall be levied the rates of import duty indicated opposite their respective tariff headings and/or lines.  

Sec. 2. Upon the effectivity of this Executive Order, the articles listed in Annex “A” hereof when entered or withdrawn from warehouses in the Philippines for consumption shall be subject to the rates of duty herein prescribed.

Sec. 3. This Executive Order shall take effect after thirty (30) days following the completion of its publication in two (2) national newspapers of general circulation.
