EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 455 - FURTHER AMENDING Sec. 3(a), OF EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 308, AS AMENDED, SERIES OF 1987

Pursuant to the powers vested in me by law, I, CORAZON C. AQUINO, President of the Philippines, do hereby order:

Section 1. Sec. 3(a) of Executive Order No. 308, as amended, series of 1987, is hereby further amended to read as follows:

“a. Composition. The RDA shall be composed of (i) all Provincial Governors and City Mayors in the region; (ii) all Congressmen and Senators from the region without prejudice however to their participation in RDAs other than those of their respective Regions; (iii) the Chairman of the Regional Development Council (RDC) of the region; and (iv) two RDC member-representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations to be nominated by the RDC. The RDA shall be headed by a Chairman and a Vice-Chairman to be elected by and from among the members. The RDC Secretariat shall also serve the RDA Secretariat.”  

Sec. 2. This Executive Order shall take effect immediately.
