LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1331 |
The Philippine Tourism Authority
WHEREAS, consistent with the avowed national policy of developing appropriate regional areas for economic, tourism and other purposes, the Fort Ilocandia Resort Hotel at Paoay, Ilocos Norte was undertaken to complement the general development of the Ilocos Region;
WHEREAS, inadequate power supply thereto has hindered the development and operation of existing plants, equipment and facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby direct that:
1.
The National Power Corporation shall immediately undertake corrective
measures to insure that adequate and appropriate voltage and supply of
electric power will, at all times, be available to the Fort Ilocandia
Resort Hotel as well as other infrastructures within the vicinity
thereof.
2.
The Philippine Tourism Authority shall make available any and all
information pertinent to the undertaking and extend its full
cooperation in the implementation thereof.
Strict compliance with these
instructions is hereby directed.
Done in the City of Manila, this 9th day of June in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-three.
