LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1339 |
WHEREAS, Letter of Instructions No. 1156 dated August 1, 1981, directed the Minister of the Budget to include a fund in the amount of ONE MILLION PESOS (P1,000,000.00) annually in the budget of the U.P. Law Center, a Legal Research Fund for the use of the U.P. College of Law Faculty.
WHEREAS, for two years there has been no release of the annual amount.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby direct the release of TWO MILLION PESOS (P2,000,000.00) for the Legal Research Fund and for the release of the sum of ONE MILLION PESOS (P1,000,000.00) annually thereafter without the need for further instructions.
Done in the City of Manila, this 29th day of June in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-three.
