LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 1507 |
Under Sec. 3005 (k) of the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines, as amended by PD No. 34, all "Coastwise cargo, discharged at a national port, whether a port of entry or not, which remains on the government pier, wharf or other customs premises for more than two (2) working days after discharge of all consignments from the carrying vessel shall pay a storage of P1.50 per ton per day, or part thereof. ..".
However, rice and corn shipments shall be granted additional two (2) calendar days free of storage.
Done in the City of Manila, this 29th day of December, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and eighty-five.
