Pursuant to Republic Act No. 6234, as amended by Presidential Decree No. 425, establishing the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System which has assumed and taken over all the functions and responsibilities including all the assets and liabilities of the defunct National Waterworks and Sewerage Authority (Rep. Act No. 1383), and the Metropolitan Water District (Act No. 2832). Original Certificate of Title No. 539 of Registry Book A-6 of the Register of Deeds of the Province of Rizal, covering a parcel of land known as the "Boso Boso" property within the Marikina watershed reserve area, issued in the name of "Ciudad de Manila" on December 10, 1910 with an area of 15,071,141 square meters more or less, is hereby cancelled and a new Transfer of Certificate of Title over the same property shall be issued in the name of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System for use exclusively as a watershed and the same may not be disposed of in any manner whatsoever.
