Ministry of the Budget
1.
The EDPITAF, through the Testbook Board, is allowed
to import newsprint, through international bidding, for the benefit of
the book publishers for the printing of educational materials,
including those for use as basic pads and notebooks, on a
tax-and-duty-free basis.
2. The Budget
Ministry is to release the equivalent of taxes and duty to the EDPITAF
on the required importation.
3. The volume
of this importation is to be ascertained by the National Economic and
Development Authority and will be determined for the duration of the
shortage in supplies of newsprint, but which authority will expire one
year from this signing, unless further renewed.
