Pursuant and subject to the provisions of Sec. 6, subparagraphs (i) and (j) of Republic Act No. 5186, the importation of vinyl-asbestos tiles shall be allowed only upon certification of the Board of Investments of the inability of BOI-registered domestic enterprises to supply the demand for the product. Henceforth, all applications for the importation of vinyl-asbestos tiles either through letters of credit, documents against acceptance or open account arrangements or any other mode of payment shall be supported by the abovestated certification.
For immediate implementation.
Done in the City of Manila, this 28th day of November, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and seventy-nine.
