MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 1292 -
URGING GOVERNMENT AGENCIES CONCERNED TO GIVE MAXIMUM SUPPORT AND
ASSISTANCE TO THE NATIONAL BOARD FOR TEACHERS IN THE CONDUCT OF THE
1985 PROFESSIONAL BOARD EXAMINATION FOR TEACHERS
WHEREAS, the National Board for Teachers,
through the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (MECS) with the
duty of administering the Professional Board Examination for Teachers
required of all persons who shall engage in teaching, whether in public
or private elementary or secondary schools, to pass the said
examination, as provided for under Presidential Decree No. 1006 dated
September 22, 1976;
WHEREAS, the Professional Board Examination for Teachers is scheduled
to be given on November 24, 1985 in at least 34 examination centers
throughout the country;
WHEREFORE, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of National Defense,
the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the National Intelligence and
Security Authority, the Integrated National Police, the Ministry of
Transportation and Communications, the Ministry of Public Works and
Highways, the Philippine Airlines, the Philippine National Railways,
and all offices under these agencies, are hereby urged to extend
maximum support and assistance to the MECS and CSC to ensure full
security, availability of air, sea, and land transportation of
examination materials, personnel, and smooth administration of the
examination all over the country;
The Minister of National Defense, the Commanding General of the
Aviation Security Command, and the Commissioner of Customs are
requested to exempt from inspection all classified materials pertinent
to the examination;
The Office of Media Affairs, the National Media Production Center, and
the Electronic Data Processing Systems Office of the Philippine Sugar
Commission are likewise enjoined to extend maximum support and
assistance relative to the dissemination of essential information on
the holding of the examination, the utilization of communication
facilities throughout the country, and the computer processing of the
test results, respectively.
