there is an increasing importation of aluminum foil products even if

WHEREAS, for the purpose of conserving foreign exchange and to
encourage continued local production of some aluminum foil products,
the reduction in tariff of said products shall be limited to those
which will reduce the price of input in the food processing industry.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Republic of
the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the
Constitution, do hereby decree and other as follows:cralaw:red
Section 1. Tariff Heading 76.04 of the Tariff and
Customs Code of 1978 is hereby revised to read as follows:cralaw:red
Aluminum foil (whether or not embossed, cut to shape, perforated,
coated, printed or backed with paper or other reinforcing material), of
a thickness (excluding any backing) not exceeding 0.20

Section 2. Repealing Clause. — Any and all acts,
statutes, decrees, rules, regulations or parts thereof inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed or modified accordingly.
Section 3. This Decree shall take effect immediately.
