1934QUEZON NATIONAL
PARK
Upon the recommendation
of the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, I hereby revoke
Proclamation
Numbered Two, series of nineteen hundred and thirteen, establishing a
parcel
of the domain situated in the municipalities of Atimonan and Pagbilao,
Province of Tayabas, as a forest reserve known as Atimonan Forest
Reserve;
and pursuant to the provision of Section One of Act Numbered
Thirty-nine
hundred and fifteen, entitled "An Act Providing for the
Establishment
of National Parks, Declaring Such Parks as Game Refuge, and For Other
Purposes,"
reserve, set apart, and designate as Quezon National Park, under the
administration
of the Bureau of Forestry, subject to the general executive control and
supervision of the said Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, for park
purposes for the benefit and enjoyment of the people of the Philippine
Islands and withdraw from sale, settlement, or other disposition the
said
parcel of the public domain, the boundaries of which are described in
the
Bureau of Forestry map N. N. P.-7, to wit:chanroblesvirtuallawlibrary

x x x containing an area
of approximately 535.0765 hectares.
When public interest so require,
and when it will not be detrimental to any project being undertaken by
the Government, the Secretary of Agriculture and Commerce, upon the
recommendation
of the Director of Forestry, may declare any portions of this park as
subject
to mining entry.

hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Government of the

Islands to be affixed.
