Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this court dated
AUG 30, 1999.G.R. No. 128150-52 (People of the Philippines, plaintiff-appellee, vs. Cesario Osianas, Pablito Lariosa, Joel Villarin, Mario Palabrica and Vicente Cumawas, accused-appellants.)
On March 3, 1999, the Court resolved to await the transcript of stenographic notes taken on September 2, 1992 by stenographic Sheridan Siason. However, on December 22, 1996, the said stenographer stated that she cannot submit the required stenographic notes as the same were destroyed by rodents.
WHEREFORE
, stenographic Sheridan Siason is required to SHOW CAUSE why she should not be disciplinary dealt with for failing to transcribe subject stenographic notes with dispatch, before the same were destroyed by rodents.Let the parties manifest to the Court whether the transcript of subject stenographic notes is essential for the disposition of the case and a retaking of the testimonies involved is necessary.
