Gentlemen:

Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 3, 1999.

G.R. No. 123666 (Leonila Enriquez, et al. vs. Court of Appeals, et al.). - It appearing that respondent Elena C. Buenaventura failed up to this very date to comply with the resolution of July 29, 1998 requiring her to pay a fine of P1,000.00 and to submit her explanation for her failure to file comment on the petition for review on certiorari as well as the aforesaid comment as required in the resolution of November 26, 1997, the Court RESOLVES: (a) to IMPOSE upon aforenamed respondent an INCREASED FINE of P2,000.00 payable to this Court within ten (10) days from notice hereof of imprisonment of five (5) days if such fine is not paid within the prescribed period; and (b) to REQUIRE her to COMPLY with the resolution of November 26, 1997 by submitting to this Court the required explanation and comment on the petition for review on certiorari, also within ten (10) days from notice hereof.
