Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated FEB 17, 1999.
G.R. No. 136413 (The Monetary Board, the Central Bank of the Philippines [Central Board of Liquidators] vs. Banco Filipino Savings and Mortgage Bank, et al.)
The motion of petitioner for an extension of thirty (30) days from December 16, 1998 within which to file petition for review on certiorari is GRANTED.
Acting on the petition for review on certiorari, the Court RESOLVES to DENY the same for petitioner's failure to submit a certification on non-forum shopping complete with an undertaking to inform this Court of the filing and pendency of similar actions before this Court, the Court of Appeals, or in the different divisions thereof, or any other tribunal or agency within five (5) days from knowledge therefrom in accordance with Section 4 (e), Rule 45 in relation to Section 5, Rule 7, Sections 4 and 5 (d), Rule 56, and the second paragraph of Section 2, Rule 42 of the 1997 Rules of Civil Procedure.
The petitioner's submission of Annex "V" of the aforesaid petition pertaining to the report o the transfer of assets and liabilities from the former Central Bank to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas of the Committee of Seven created under R.A. 7653 is NOTED.
