Gentlemen:
Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this Court dated 11 MAR 2002.

The Court NOTES the (1) compliance submitted by the Division Clerk of Court reporting that Atty. Manuel Ocampo has not yet filed the Expanded Brief for the Appellant as required in the Resolution of 28 February 2001; and (2) the certification dated 14 January 2002 of Ms. Araceli C. Bayuga, Cashier V, Disbursement and Collection Division, Fiscal Management and Budget Office, that per records, Atty. Ocampo has not paid the fine of p5,000 imposed on him in the same resolution of 28 February 2001.
It must be recalled that in the said Resolution of 28 February 200 1, the Court resolved that if Atty. Ocampo fails to pay the fine within five (5) days from notice, he shall "suffer imprisonment of five (5) days," and if he fails again to file the Expanded Brief within five (5) days from notice he shall be "arrested and detained at the detention cell of the National Bureau of Investigation [NBI], Taft Avenue, Manila, until he shall have filed said Brief."
Considering the abovementioned report and certification, the Court RESOLVES, conformably with the aforesaid Resolution, to ORDER the arrest by the NBI of Atty. Manuel Ocampo and his detention at its detention center until he shall have filed the Expanded Brief. The NBI shall forthwith implement this resolution and submit a report of the arrest and detention within five (5) days thereafter."
