Quoted hereunder, for your information, is a resolution of this
Court dated
G.R. No. 130710 (People of the Philippines vs. Antonio Cabansay, et al.)
Considering the allegation of Executive Director Reynaldo G. Bayang in his Compliance dated may 8, 2003 that "the Board, through its former members," made a mistake in concluding that accused-appellant Antonio Cabansay did not have any pending appeal before this Court and that he was qualified for commutation of sentence and parole, Executive Director Bayang is DIRECTED to FURNISH the Court, within ten (10) days from notice, certified true copies of the resolutions of the Board of Pardons and Parole (a) recommending to the President that the sentence of accused-appellant be commuted and (b) approving his application for parole.
