Snow v. United States
Argued April 28-29, 1886
Decided May 10, 1886
118 U.S. 346
Syllabus
There is no provision of law under which this Court can review a judgment of the Supreme Court of a Territory, on a conviction on an indictment for cohabiting with more than one woman, under § 3 of the Act of March 22, 1882, 22 Stat. 31.
The case which makes the question of jurisdiction decided by the Court is stated in its opinion. The question was not considered by counsel in argument, but on its own suggestion, the Court gave the parties an opportunity to file briefs, which was done by counsel for plaintiff in error. chanrobles.com-red
