(a) Posting notice of petition. When appropriate, the Regional Director, after the filing of a representation petition, will direct the agency or activity to post copies of a notice to all employees in places where notices are normally posted for the employees affected by issues raised in the petition and/or distribute copies of a notice in a manner by which notices are normally distributed. (b) Contents of notice. The notice shall advise affected employees about the petition. (c) Duration of notice. The notice should be conspicuously posted for a period of ten (10) days and not be altered, defaced, or covered by other material.
