This subpart applies to: (a) Federal candidates; (b) Individuals holding Federal office (see 11 CFR 300.2(o)); (c) Agents acting on behalf of a Federal candidate or individual holding Federal office; and (d) Entities that are directly or indirectly established, financed, maintained, or controlled by, or acting on behalf of, one or more Federal candidates or individuals holding Federal office.
