Title 14 - Aeronautics and Space
(a) Within 10 work days of receipt by NASA of a request to amend a record, the system manager shall provide the requester with a written determination or acknowledgement advising when action may be taken. (b) When necessary, NASA may utilize up to 30 work days after receipt to provide the determination on a request to amend a record. (c) If the request for amendment is denied, the determination shall explain the reasons for the denial and inform the requester of the procedures to follow for appeal (See §1212.4)).
