Travel and Transportation July 2002 (a) For travel funded by the government under this agreement, section 5 of the International Air Transportation Fair Competitive Practices Act of 1974 (49 U.S.C. 40118) (Fly America Act) requires the Recipient to use U.S.-flag air carriers for international air transportation of personnel and property to the extent that service by those carriers is available. (b) Department of Transportation regulations, 49 CFR part 173, govern Recipient shipment of hazardous materials and other items. [End of provision]
