Title 15 - Commerce and Foreign Trade
Coastal States are encouraged to give high priority to: (a) Coordinating State coastal management planning, policies, and programs with respect to contiguous areas of such States; (b) Studying, planning, and implementing unified coastal management policies with respect to such areas; and (c) Establishing an effective mechanism, and adopting a federal-State consultation procedure, for the identification, examination, and cooperative resolution of mutual problems with respect to activities having interstate coastal effects.
