(a) The Job Corps Director shall establish procedures to ensure that students are not required or permitted to work, to be trained, to reside, or to receive services in buildings or surroundings or under conditions that are unsanitary, hazardous, or lack proper ventilation. Whenever students are employed or trained for jobs, they shall be assigned to such jobs or training in accordance with appropriate health and safety practices. (b) The Job Corps Director shall develop a procedure to provide appropriate protective clothing for students in work or training. (c) The Job Corps Director shall develop procedures to ensure compliance with applicable DOL Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
