Title 20 - Employees' Benefits
(a) Not less than 75 percent of the SCSEP funds provided under a grant from the Department must be used to pay for the wages and fringe benefits of participants in such projects, including awards made under section 502(e) of the OAA. (OAA sec. 502(c)(6)(B)). (b) An SCSEP recipient is in compliance with this provision if at least 75 percent of the total expenditures of SCSEP funds provided to the recipient were for wages and benefits, even if one or more subrecipients did not expend at least 75 percent of their SCSEP funds for wages and fringe benefits for community service projects. (c) Recipients receiving both general SCSEP funds and section 502(e) funds must meet the 75 percent requirement based on the total of both grants.
