Title 21 - Food and Drugs
(a) Specifications. Each milliliter of sterile suspension contains 50 milligrams of stanozolol. (b) Sponsor. No. 000009 in §510.600(c) of this chapter. (c) Conditions of use. (1) Used as an anabolic steroid treatment in dogs, cats, and horses. (2) Administered to dogs and cats by deep intramuscular injection in the thigh at weekly intervals, for several weeks. For cats and small breeds of dogs, 25 milligrams. For larger dogs, 50 milligrams. (3) Administered to horses by deep intramuscular injection in the gluteal region at weekly intervals, for not more than 4 weeks; 25 milligrams per 100 pounds of body weight. (4) Not for use in horses intended for food. (5) Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
