(a) Whole blood donors shall meet the criteria for donor suitability prescribed in §640.3. (b) Plasmapheresis donors shall meet the criteria for donor suitability prescribed in §640.63, excluding the phrase “other than malaria” in paragraph (c)(9) of that section.
