22 C.F.R. § 8.6 Membership.
Title 22 - Foreign Relations
(a) The act requires a balanced membership in terms of the points of view represented. Members are selected for their expertise in the committee's functions and should be chosen from different vocations having knowledge in the subject. (b) It is Department policy that members will be selected without regard to national origin, religion, race, sex, or color. (c) The committee office will keep the Advisory Committee Management Officer currently advised of a committee's membership including vacancies.
