Title 24 - Housing and Urban Development
The Board is authorized pursuant to section 536 of the National Housing Act (12 U.S.C.1735(f)–14) to impose civil money penalties upon lenders and mortgagees, as set forth in 24 CFR part 30. The violations for which a civil money penalty may be imposed are listed in subpart B (Violations) of part 30. Hearings to challenge the imposition of civil money penalties shall be conducted according to the applicable rules of 24 CFR part 30. [68 FR 12787, Mar. 17, 2003]
