Title 24 - Housing and Urban Development
(a) Section 110(a) of the Act contains labor standards that apply to nonvolunteer labor financed in whole or in part with assistance received under the Act. In accordance with section 110(a) of the Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (40 U.S.C. 327 et seq.) also applies. However, these requirements apply to the rehabilitation of residential property only if such property contains not less than 8 units. (b) The regulations in 24 CFR part 70 apply to the use of volunteers. [61 FR 11477, Mar. 20, 1996]
