A proprietor may terminate an approved application, Form 5100.16, at any time by (a) Retrieving the consignor's copy, and (b) Returning this copy, together with his own to the appropriate TTB officer for cancellation. (Sec. 201, Pub. L. 85–859, 72 Stat. 1318, as amended (26 U.S.C. 5005))
