27 C.F.R. § 19.154 Notice of registration.
Title 27 - Alcohol, Tobacco Products and Firearms
The application for registration, when approved, shall constitute the notice of registration of the distilled spirits plant. A distilled spirits plant shall not be registered or reregistered under this subpart until the applicant has complied with all requirements of law and regulations relating to the qualification of the business or operations in which the applicant intends to engage. A plant shall not be operated unless the proprietor has a valid notice of registration covering the businesses and operations to be conducted at such plant. In any instance where a bond is required to be given or a permit is required to be obtained with respect to a business or operation before notice of registration of the plant may be received with respect thereto, the notice of registration shall not be valid with respect to such business or operation in the event that such bond or permit is no longer in effect. An application for reregistration shall be filed and notice of registration again obtained before engaging in such business or operation at such plant. Reregistration is not required when a new bond or a strengthening bond is filed pursuant to §19.246 or 19.247. (Sec. 201, Pub. L. 85–859, 72 Stat. 1349, as amended (26 U.S.C. 5172); sec. 805a, Pub.
