Title 30 - Mineral Resources
(a) Part 784 of this chapter, Underground Mining Permit Applications—Minimum Requirements for Reclamation and Operation Plan, shall apply to any person who makes application to conduct underground coal mining operations. (b) Any application for an underground mining permit which will produce more than 1,000,000 tons per year shall demonstrate specific compliance with local Air Pollution Control Authorities and the Washington Clean Air Act, RCW 70.94. (c) Any applicant for an underground mining permit shall also indicate how compliance will be achieved with the Washington Water Pollution Control Act, RCW 90.48.
