1. In general. This appendix applies to the United States Secret Service. 2. Public reading room. The United States Secret Service will provide a room on an ad hoc basis when necessary. Contact the Disclosure Officer, Room 720, 1800 G Street, NW., Washington, DC 20223 to make appointments. 3. Requests for records. Initial determinations under 31 CFR 1.5(h) as to whether to grant requests for records of the United States Secret Service will be made by the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts Officer, United States Secret Service. Requests may be mailed or delivered in person to: Freedom of Information Act Request, FOIA and Privacy Acts Officer, U.S. Secret Service, oom 720, 1800 G Street, NW., Washington, DC 20223. 4. Administrative appeal of initial determination to deny records. Appellate determinations under 31 CFR 1.5(i) with respect to records of the United States Secret Service will be made by the Deputy Director, United States Secret Service. Appeals should be addressed to: Freedom of Information Appeal, Deputy Director, U.S. Secret Service, Room 800, 1800 G Street, NW., Washington, DC 20223. 5. Delivery of Process. Service of process will be received by the United States Secret Service Chief Counsel at the following address: Chief Counsel, U.S. Secret Service, Room 842, 1800 G Street, NW., Washington, DC 20223.
