(a) We do not garnish your wages if we have credible evidence that you— (1) Were involuntarily separated from employment; and (2) Have not yet been reemployed continuously for at least 12 months. (b) You have the burden of informing us of the circumstances surrounding an involuntary separation from employment. (Authority: 31 U.S.C. 3720D)
