The Secretary gives the appropriate State vocational rehabilitation unit an opportunity to review and comment on applications submitted from within the State that it serves. The procedures to be followed by the applicant and the State are in EDGAR §§75.155–75.159. (Authority: Sec. 12)(c) of the Act; 29 U.S.C. 711(c)) Each applicant for a grant under a program covered by this part must include in its application a description of the manner in which it will address the needs of individuals with disabilities from minority backgrounds.
