Title 34 - Education
This program is designed— (a) To develop new types of training programs for rehabilitation personnel and to demonstrate the effectiveness of these new types of training programs for rehabilitation personnel in providing rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities; and (b) To develop new and improved methods of training rehabilitation personnel so that there may be a more effective delivery of rehabilitation services by State and other rehabilitation agencies. (Authority: Sec. 302 of the Act; 29 U.S.C. 774) [45 FR 86383, Dec. 30, 1980, as amended at 53 FR 17147, May 13, 1988; 59 FR 8347, Feb. 18, 1994] Those agencies and organizations eligible for assistance under this program are described in 34 CFR 385.2.
