The following definitions apply to the Native Hawaiian Vocational Education Program: (a) The definitions in 34 CFR 400.4 apply to this part. (b) The following definition also applies to this part: Native Hawaiian means any individual who has any ancestors who were natives, prior to 1778, of the area that now comprises the State of Hawaii.
