Title 34 - Education
(a) The Institute awards fellowships for a period of at least three and not more than 12 months of full-time or part-time activity. Applicants proposing part-time projects must devote at least 60 percent of time to the project. The 60 percent requirement may be waived at the Director's discretion. An award may not exceed 12 months in duration. The actual period of the fellowship will be determined at the time of award based on proposed activities. (b) In order to continue the fellowship to completion, the fellow must be making satisfactory progress as determined periodically by the Director. (c) A fellowship may be terminated under the terms of 34 CFR 74.61.
