All remittances shall be by personal check, cashier's check, certified check, or money order, and shall be made payable to the Department of the Interior—Bureau of Land Management or the Department of the Interior—Minerals Management Service, as appropriate. Payments made to the Bureau may be made by other arrangements such as by electronic funds transfer or credit card when specifically authorized by the Bureau. In the case of payments made to the Service, such payments may also be made by electronic funds transfer. [53 FR 22837, June 17, 1988]
