Title 46 - Shipping
(a) Illuminated exit signs are required and must be installed in accordance with subchapter J (Electrical Engineering Regulations) of this chapter. (b) Small rooms or spaces having a secondary means of escape which is not obviously apparent shall have a suitable sign in red letters “EMERGENCY EXIT” directing attention to such escape.
