This subpart prescribes rules for identifying incompatible hazardous materials and rules for carrying these materials in bulk as cargo in permanently attached tanks or in tanks that are loaded or discharged while aboard the vessel. The rules apply to all vessels that carry liquid dangerous cargoes in bulk that are subject to 46 U.S.C. Chapter 37. [CGD 95–028, 62 FR 51209, Sept. 30, 1997]
