Title 46 - Shipping
(a) A buoyant apparatus is approved by the Coast Guard under the procedures in subpart 159.005 of this chapter. (b) The test required for approval are those in §160.010–7, and must be performed on the first production lot of buoyant apparatus produced by the manufacturer.
