Title 49 - Transportation
(a) The oversight agency shall require the rail transit agency to develop and implement a written system safety program plan that complies with requirements in this part and the oversight agency's program standard. (b) The oversight agency shall review and approve the rail transit agency system safety program plan. (c) After approval, the oversight agency shall issue a formal letter of approval to the rail transit agency, including the checklist used to conduct the review.
