Sec. 1004. Penalties
Whoever secures or attempts to secure the exemption from toll
provided for in sections 1002 to 1004 of this title or an authorization
referred to in section 1003 of this title, knowing that he is not
entitled thereto, and whoever signs or issues any such authorization
certifying to such right of exemption, knowing that such right does not
exist, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction thereof,
shall be punished by a fine of not more than $100 or by imprisonment for
not more than ten days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
