§ 216. — Authorization of appropriation.

Sec. 216. Authorization of appropriation
There is authorized to be appropriated the sum of $100,000, or so
much thereof as may be necessary, to carry out the provisions of section
215 of this title; and authorization is also given for such
appropriations as may, in the future, be deemed necessary for the proper
protection, preservation, care, maintenance, and operation of the said
national park or reservation, including the salaries and compensation of
a superintendent and other needed employees.
