CHAPTER 1--NATIONAL PARKS, MILITARY PARKS, MONUMENTS, AND SEASHORES
SUBCHAPTER LXI--NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MONUMENTS AND MEMORIALS
Sec. 450dd-1. Administration
Upon a determination by the Secretary of the Interior that
sufficient land has been acquired by the United States for the memorial,
such property shall be established as the ``De Soto National Memorial'',
and shall be administered by the Secretary of the Interior, through the
National Park Service, for the benefit of the people of the United
States. An order of the Secretary of the Interior, constituting notice
of such establishment, shall be published in the Federal Register.
Insofar as applicable and not in conflict with this section and section
450dd of this title, sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this title, providing
for the establishment of a National Park Service, as amended and
supplemented, shall govern the promotion and development of the national
memorial.
