Sec. 460vv-17. Permits
The Secretary shall cooperate with other Federal agencies, with
State and local public agencies and bodies, and with private individuals
and organizations in the issuance of permits for facilities, services,
and recreational facilities in the Winding Stair Mountain National
Recreation and Wilderness Area. In issuing such permits, the Secretary
is authorized and encouraged to consider local nonprofit entities and
the private sector.
