Sec. 6407. Effectiveness reports
(a) Grant program
Not later than 3 years after December 23, 2000, the Administrator
shall submit to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation
of the Senate and the Committee on Resources of the House of
Representatives a report that documents the effectiveness of the grant
program under section 6403 of this title in meeting the purposes of this
chapter. The report shall include a State-by-State summary of Federal
and non-Federal contributions toward the costs of each project.
(b) National program
Not later than 2 years after the date on which the Administrator
publishes the national coral reef strategy under section 6402 of this
title and every 2 years thereafter, the Administrator shall submit to
the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate and
the Committee on Resources of the House of Representatives a report
describing all activities undertaken to implement that strategy, under
section 6402 of this title, including a description of the funds
obligated each fiscal year to advance coral reef conservation.
