SUBCHAPTER I--NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
Sec. 8. Roads and trails in national parks and monuments;
construction, etc.
The Secretary of the Interior, in his administration of the National
Park Service, is authorized to construct, reconstruct, and improve roads
and trails, inclusive of necessary bridges, in the national parks and
monuments under the jurisdiction of the Department of the Interior.

Transfer of Functions
For transfer of functions of other officers, employees, and agencies
of Department of the Interior, with certain exceptions, to Secretary of
the Interior, with power to delegate, see Reorg. Plan No. 3 of 1950,
